Mary H. Peters (Mrs. Robert R.) 11th Club President 1896-1897
Mrs. Peters was a charter member of the Club. Before becoming president, Mrs. Peters chaired the “Current Topics Committee,” and in that role she lead many club discussions.
May 8, 1891: At the meeting of the Woman's Club Wednesday afternoon, a well written and comprehensive paper on “Water Color Painting” was read by Mrs. R. R. Peters.
Mary Peters was active in women’s organizations, the DAR, and was a charter member of First Methodist Church.
