United Way of Central Iowa’s AmeriCorps Seniors program has Fraud Fighters volunteers who are trained by the Iowa Insurance Division to give presentations on common scams, such as fraudulent investments, consumer and Medicare insurance schemes, pyramid schemes and more.

Judy Russell gives a delightful presentation about the history of Woolworth Five and Dime stores. Judy has a personal connection to Woolworth. Her parents both met and worked for one of these stores. She has lots of memories, pictures and memorabilia to share.
